This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course focused on the enhancement of soft skills as essential professional competencies in nursing practice. Emphasis was placed on communication, emotional intelligence, cultural competence, ethical behaviour, and professionalism to support patient safety, quality care, and positive nurse–patient relationships. The course integrated theory, applied frameworks, and case-based discussions to demonstrate how soft skills complement technical nursing skills and improve clinical outcomes.
