About This Course

This Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course focused on strengthening professionalism as a foundational competency in nursing practice. The course examined the concept of professionalism, professional values, ethical practice, accountability, autonomy, and effective communication within the Malaysian nursing context. Emphasis was placed on adherence to the LJM Code of Professional Conduct, professional roles and responsibilities, and the impact of professional behaviour on patient safety, quality of care, and public trust. The course also highlighted the importance of lifelong learning and continuous professional development at national and international levels.

Upon successful completion, learners are eligible to claim 2 CPD credits in Malaysia.
